Joan proudly identifies as a Lagunatic, a moniker reserved for those fortunate souls who were raised and educated  in the century-old artist colony of Laguna Beach, California. Since the early 1900s, art has flourished in Laguna, and for much of her life, Joan was surrounded by art and creativity.  She learned how to look at the world around her and to appreciate the simple details. She brings her insight, her passion, and her artistic talent to her painting, sharing experiences throughout Europe and the US. Enjoy her adventures.
